Dr. Charles Porch, a Florida State University and Southern College of Optometry graduate, specializes in diagnosing and treating learning-related vision problems such as: lazy eye (amblyopia); eye turn (strabismus); eye teaming problems; tracking deficits; and visual-perceptual deficits. His vision therapist, Mary Ann Sullivan, has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Carlow College and an M.A. in Reading from the University of Pittsburgh. She taught reading at all grade levels in both private and public schools before joining Dr. Porch's practice in 1996.

- Orthokeratology (Ortho-k) Corrects nearsightedness by gently shaping reshaping the surface of the eye by wearing special contact lenses while you sleep--this allows you to see clearly for a day or so after removing the lenses and is a non-surgical alternative to Lasik surgery which only requires wearing the lenses nightly--this provides excellent vision to young athletes under the age of 21 who are not qualified for Lasik surgery because their eyes are still growing who do not want to wear glasses or contacts while playing sports (and older athletes as well whose eyes are mature)
